Transportation
Petit taxi
Like every Moroccan city, Essaouira has petit taxis too, but they are very hard to find if you are trying to get to the medina from the outskirts. You will find it really difficult to catch any taxi at all during night. The drivers are honest and generally they don't try to cheat tourists.
Grand taxi
Grand taxis can be found near the main bus station.
Money, Banks
Most of the banks and their respective ATMs can be found on and around the Moulay Hassan square. They all offer currency exchange services.
