Oualidia الو الدية (el-Ualidia)
Oualidia is home to one of the most beautiful lagoons on the Morocco's Atlantic Ocean coast.

Overview
Oualidia is a small, perfect resort for locals and tourists alike who want to enjoy the sun, ocean, long, sandy beaches and excellent seafood.
How to Get There
By Car
If coming from northern Morocco, the best way to reach Oualidia is to take the Tangier-Rabat-Casablanca-El-Jadida highway. Once you get off the highway in El-Jadida, follow the coast road down to Oualidia. And be careful: before you reach the stretch of coast where the lagoons begin, the traffic can be dense and dangerous. Pay special attention to trucks whose drivers have the tendency to surpass other vehicles abruptly and without warning.
If coming from Marrakech, take the road to Safi and then follow the beautiful scenic coast road up to Oualidia.
If coming from souther Morocco (Agadir and such), just follow the coast. Pay attention: before Safi, there is about 4 kms of utterly devastated road, with mud and holes all over. You can drive thorugh it with a standard car, though.
